Beta compatibility: the full workflow has been tested in Logic Pro 10.7.9 on macOS 26. Logic 11 and 12, macOS 14 and 15 and Intel Macs are not yet tested. Check the current compatibility notes before purchasing.
One insert, your effect chain.
- Install the Knobpilot Audio Unit and restart Logic Pro so it can discover the plugin.
- On a duplicate track or saved project, add Knobpilot as an Audio FX insert.
- Open the rack and scan your compatible installed effects.
- Start the free trial (or activate your subscription) in the account dialog, play a representative section, and give it a direction.
- Listen to the changes. Compare, revert, or open the individual effect editors.
Your stock effects stay in Logic.
Logic’s Channel EQ, Compressor and other built-in effects cannot be loaded inside Knobpilot. They can remain elsewhere in your Logic signal path, but the assistant controls the compatible effects loaded inside its own rack.
Knobpilot does not remotely change Logic’s other inserts, faders, sends or automation lanes. See how the rack works.
Try a direction that fits the source.
“Make this synth softer on top, with a little space. Keep it out of the bass’s way.”
“Give this vocal more presence. Don’t add reverb or change the compressor.”
Keep the session easy to revisit.
Save your Logic project after listening. Recent conversation context is stored with the rack. Keep the same third-party plugins available when reopening or sharing the session, and back up important work before updating a beta.
