3,000 credits a month.
The plan includes 3,000 AI credits each calendar month. They reset on the 1st of the month (UTC), whichever day you subscribed, and unused credits don’t carry over. A chain build typically uses 3 to 10 credits, a correction 1 to 3.
You pay for what a request uses.
Credits aren’t a flat price per message. Each request is charged for the AI work it actually did; a runaway request is stopped when it reaches about 50 credits. Credits measure that work; they aren’t money and can’t be paid out.
Stopped or failed requests.
If you stop a request, you’re charged only for the work it finished; changes it already made stay in the rack. If a request fails before the service can tell what it used, it costs nothing. A request is never charged more than the credits you have left.
Credit packs.
$10 for 1,500 credits, $25 for 4,000, bought while you’re subscribed. Packs never expire. They’re used after your monthly credits while you’re subscribed; if your plan lapses, they wait for you.
Your chain stays usable.
Existing audio processing and manual controls remain available when your AI subscription ends or your allowance is used up. New AI requests require an eligible plan and internet.
Own your effects.
The plan does not include third-party plugin licenses. Check that your effects and DAW fit the beta compatibility notes.

How do I cancel?
Manage subscription renewal through the Polar customer portal linked from your account. Deactivating the plugin or signing out does not cancel your subscription. After you cancel, the AI works until the end of the period you paid for; the billing portal shows that date.
Are there extra credits or a free trial?
Every computer can try Knobpilot AI free for 14 days with 100 credits, no card needed. With a plan you can add credit packs: $10 for 1,500 credits or $25 for 4,000. Packs never expire; they’re used after your monthly credits.
How many computers can I use?
One subscription activates two computers. Every rack on those computers shares the account’s credits. Signing out on one computer frees its place for another. If a computer is lost or wiped, remove it from your license key in the Polar customer portal (Manage billing in your account).
What if I stop a request or it fails?
You’re charged only for the work the request finished, and a request that fails before its usage is known costs nothing. Changes already made stay in the rack, so check it before you send the next request.
What is the refund policy?
If you withdraw within 14 days of your first payment (write to us), you get a full refund, credits you used included. Cancelling in the billing portal stops the next renewal. Read the refund policy.
